Humans

Before the Great Corruption, humans were everywhere on Earth. After that event, though, most of them died, while the rest either mutated because of the corruption’s influence, or were taken away by demons.

No humans remain on Earth in their natural form without external influence; their biology no longer adapted to the tainted atmosphere. However, there are plenty in the demon world, though their status depends greatly on which district they live in, going from mere cattle to respected citizens.
