Humans make up for about a quarter of the population, with a vast majority of them residing in both the City of Ylria and the Central Island.
Before the Great Corruption, humans were everywhere on Earth. After that event, though, most of them died, while the rest either mutated because of the corruption’s influence, or were taken away by demons.
No humans remain on Earth in their natural form; their biology no longer adapted to the tainted atmosphere. However, there are plenty in the demon world, though their status depends greatly on which district they live in, going from mere cattle to respected citizens.
